Read the following carefully as it is a deviation from the past!

Suggested launches are on the map below.  Additional access may be available and is defined as any public access point that does not involve trespassing to access the White River.

Allowable water is any water that can be accessed via kayak without portaging with the exception of the water highlighted in red below.   Additionally, there are allowable portages around the Riverwood Dam and the Kessler Street Bridge.

The northern boundary is Morrow’s Meadow Park in Yorktown.  Southern boundary is defined as Riverside Park in Indianapolis.

Much of this river is fishable by launching and taking out at the same launches, but if you wish to plan a float downstream, here is some information to help you with that planning.
