NuCanoe Angler of the Year

Angler of the Year Points are awarded at each event as such:

1st Place – 100 pts
2nd Place – 99 pts
3rd Place – 98 pts
…
10th Place – 91 pts
…
100th Place – 1 pt

Points will be awarded to the top 100 places at each event, but only to those anglers who check in at least one fish. If you zero for the day you will not be awarded AOY points. Final standings will be determined by taking the top 3 events of 5 for each angler + points from the invitation-only Championship event.

The 2022 Angler of the Year will receive a 2022 NuCanoe F10 with propulsion via a Motorguide XI3 trolling motor powered by Dakota Lithium!

Qualification for 2023 Championship

For 2023, anglers qualify in the following ways:

Winning an event earns you an automatic qualification
Top 12 in Angler of the Year points that did NOT qualify through winning an event

Jaxton Orr has unseated the reigning champ to take the Angler of the Year title and prizes! Jaxton’s consistent season with two second place finishes and a sixth place in the regular season was capped off by a solid third place finish at the championship, clinching the title.
