Captain’s Meeting
The captain’s meeting will be very informal. You’re expected to know the rules and times as published here. If you have questions, please address them prior to the event by asking your team representative.
For the meeting, please send a representative from your team to the Forest Park Canoe Launch/DNR Boat ramp (MAP TO LOCATION) any time between 6 PM and 8 PM to meet with Jason Young from IKA. He will distribute the day 1 identifier and address any concerns or questions you may have. Additionally, please have that representative deliver the team’s donations to the prizes at that time so that they may be distributed as needed on Saturday and Sunday.

Morse Reservoir above the dam.
PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS NEAR THE DAM! With the amount of rain recently expect some current especially in the area of the dam.
Available Launches
Cicero Red Bridge Park (MAP) – Nice park with a lot of parking. There is no designated trailer parking, but there are a few double spots that could be used. You won’t be able to launch from a trailer but there is plenty of shoreline to launch from and a kayak launching pier.
Morse Lake Marina (MAP) – The only actual boat ramp on the lake and your only option if you must launch directly from the trailer into the water. Launch fee is $20/day.
Morse Park (MAP) – Large park with decent parking. Will require a short drag and over-the-seawall launch.
