2016 Schedule

APRIL 23, 2016
 – Geist Lake.  We’ll be revisiting this Central Indiana big bass factory for our season opener!  The event will run out of the private launch facility of Geist Marina.  For more details and discussion, visit the Facebook event page!

JUNE 25, 2016 – Statewide open water event in conjunction with Wildcat Creek Outfitters. All anglers fishing this event will be fishing both WCO’s Midwest Madness event and Indiana Kayak Anglers Event #2.  For more details and information, follow the event on Facebook.

JULY 16, 2016 – Fort Wayne Three Rivers. We’ll be fishing the urban waters of the three rivers in Fort Wayne, fishing for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass! The Big Bass Pot will be a special “River Monster” pot for this event, where the longest fish of any species will take home the prize. This event will coincide with the famous Three Rivers Festival, allowing us to demonstrate more utilization of the resources that the rivers provide to the city of Fort Wayne and also giving our families something to do while we fish! For more information on this event, follow the event page on Facebook and view this page for launch information.

AUGUST 27, 2016 – White River Indianapolis. We’ll be returning to this awesome smallmouth fishery, the site of our most-attended event last year. For this event, we’ll be using TourneyX.com to manage the event, which will help with judging and scoring to alleviate long lines at the end of the day.  For more details, visit the TourneyX event page and the Facebook event page.  On these pages you will find all of the necessary links you’ll need to understand all of the allowable launch locations and how to register via TourneyX.

OCTOBER 1, 2016 – Border War! In our final regular season event of the year, we’re going to visit Lake George in northern Indiana to battle it out with anglers from the Central Michigan Kayak Fishing organization. This event will not be a cash payout like the others, but instead will be a charity event. All entry fees will be donated to 2 charities but anglers will have the opportunity to earn some amazing prizes donated by sponsors. We’ll establish a team scoring method to determine which state takes the title. 60% of the donation pot will go to the charity of the winning team’s choice and 40% to the other. Further details and prize list will be updated!
